The team, "Statistical and multi-scale approaches of turbulence" studies
fundamental aspects and applications of turbulent flows. Turbulence
models, such as LES subgrid-models, two-point closures and hybrid
methods are both developed and used to study high Reynolds number
turbulence, scalar mixing, and MHD-turbulence.
